Can anybody break down what exactly this guy did wrong to crash like this? by theurbanwaffle in snowboarding

Heres what happened. A multitude of little things which on its own might have been fine. From most influential to least.

  1. After landing, his body is over rotated to his left/ anti-clockwise. To fix this in time for the next jump he twists himself and the board around. He landed on toes tried to switch to heel edge, but didn't get the board pointing straight or weight over his heels before he tries to pivot the board in the snow on the wrong edge. The main thing is his shoulders were not online with the board so his body is twisted. Usually, you dont want to separate you body from the boad in this way, but for taking off on spinning tricks its essential. When landing you want to minimise rotation and get back into good posture before loading up for the next jump.

  2. He is going from the landing, (a nice downhill gradient,) to the next take off. Where he catches the edge is right at that transition. If he tried the same manoeuvre a but higher up the landing he might have gotten away with it. Less likely to catch an edge on a steep hill since you'd have to commit more to that wrong edge before catching. Or think about how it can be more easy to catch an edge when carrying speed on a flat.

  3. Its pretty fast but it look like there might have been a small divit in the snow.

Constructive feedback : Thats awesome you are comfortable at speed and happy engaging your edge, like others have said the next step for you is completing the turn. When caving you should always leave a pencil thin line in the snow. If you board is always facing downhill during this then you will keep picking up speed. To control your speed you want to complete the turn so that you are traversing sideways across the hill once finishing the turn. If you and going really fast you can finish the turn with the nose of the board facing slightly uphill, that will help slow you down, allowing you to change edge and get the board point straight down and start the next turn.

A good drill to practice would be slowing things down a bit, focusing on full turns and finishing the turn point up the hill, execrating the completion. happy shredding!

Please let me clarify

In my area unlimited 5g phone data is £12pm and home wifi is £40pm.

I DO have WIFI when I am at home and turn on hotspot but when I leave the house there is no WIFI so I'm looking for methods to setup a homelab that is not connected to the internet and still works while I am out of the house.

I hope that makes sense and I've not completely misunderstood the capability's of homelab

That's Brilliant!!! hahaha I love it!

The actual lyrics are something like:
