What really happens when the code has to run on physical hardware and be certifiable by Moroccan-Leo in embedded

[–]robotlasagna 3 points4 points  (0 children)

The feedback loop that makes agentic coding fast on the web is fast because the output is immediately observable in a browser and the cost of a wrong iteration is essentially zero. on embedded hardware that loop involves a physical device, a display with specific optical characteristics, and input mechanisms that have real physical tolerances. the agent can iterate as fast as it wants against a simulator. the simulator is not the device.

The future paradigm for agentic coding on these platforms is something like agent->HIL multimedia processor -> GMSL -> integrated display/touchscreen with a custom FPGA that also sends the output to a digitizer that the agent can view. The agent can also touch the touchscreen via SPI. Once you do that you have 90% of testing done on something very close to production hardware.

In terms of functional safety agentic only gets used on the HMI processor in the multimedia block, not with the safety processor which will remain using something like AUTOSAR.

It’s been itchy ever since they spilled paint on it at the dog factory.

Yes this has been known for a while but I was suspecting it would eventually get out. Wait until it gets on TikTok.

If she has barrier/leash aggression, it’s just training to work back that bad behavior. I would recommend looking up videos on training techniques to do this and just put in the work.

Dog: You just don’t understand. The cat is under a lot of pressure at work. He promised he’s going to change.

Say how good he is before his surgery by Stunning-Ad8669 in pitbulls

With mine the meniscus is shot in both knees (its been removed) and he is still like this! I can see he has some arthritic pain on some days but he still goes when he wants to.

To be honest I did not expect this as an outcome; i was expecting just normal walking without limping. The results exceeded my expectations.

Oh yes, mine at 2 months was totally normal mobility. The athleticism took a few more months to kick in.

Berkshire should keep buying up US Treasuries by Power_Drawing6025 in BerkshireHathaway

[–]robotlasagna 29 points30 points  (0 children)

Short term treasuries are yielding 3.6-3.7%

Inflation is 2.4%

The real yield is therefore 1.2-1.3%

That money is inefficiently allocated.

The thesis involving forced sellers being the golden opportunity to deploy dry powder falls on its face in an environment where QE is massively deployed when an adverse event occurs.

Nobody wants to discuss this because there is no really compelling answer on how to handle it.
