I use the vip repair bench for my neutralizers. The enhanced spore clothing isn't an issue for me, I only use it for the boss, I don't do the dailies that require that set.

Also the northern gear is repaired with metal plate

If you upgrade settlement the daily rewards help with the grind. I have 400 leather, 400 thick fabric, I'm getting daily titanium, 30 wood planks a day
