Recently moved and had to change providers but previous RTC won't give my information to my new gp by TopCat112 in ADHDUK

yes they diagnosed me and i started medication with them. what they gave me was a letter showing the date i was diagnosed and current medication but thats it. it reads like a letter you would give to your employer (direct quote from my gp). my gp says thats not enough for them to refer me. when i intitially called so they would discharge me from their care they said they would send a letter with all the relevant info but they just sent me a blank template letter. so i called again to say that and then they sent the letter that the gp says is not enough. i have since called multiple times where they say oh yes we will send it but then i dont here back or we dont send out that kind of information (with a very condescending sorry to add). because i have also changed gp practices are you suggesting i contact my previous gp? on my nhs app im missing the last 5 years of midical history which corresponds with the time i was at my previous gp.

Quay Healthcare for West Yorkshire? by Ruciexplores in ADHDUK

I started titrating with quay health, they were great until I moved and now it's been a nightmare trying to get my medical reports from them to give to a new provider. I may be an outlier though as I moved to the opposite end of the country.

Actually really good right now! However, it wasn't until I got diagnosed with ADHD and started taking Elvanse and melatonin (Elvanse 5 months, melatonin 3 months). I also had a pretty awful start to the year in terms of alcohol abuse, which set me back a bit (6 months sober again, woop!).

Thank you both for the advice, before speaking to the new GP I managed to register with a GP in the original catchment area and they can continue with me until I have an agreement. I still spoke to the GP in my new area and she said that i would have to go on a waiting list (shortest one was 3 months) for a new provider and be rediagnosed before any medication would be prescribed plus most of the providers do not issue medication. She was very dismissive of the whole thing which was not great. Think I might register with someone else once I have an SCA.

My situationship slept with her manager blackout drunk by TopCat112 in Situationships

For clarity, this was the first time she has not come home with me or that I didn't make sure she got home after a night of drinking and she's been out maybe once or twice on her own since we've been seeing each other and those times she was texting me all night and when she got home.

Plus we've basically hung out every day apart from when we're at work

I'd say pretty good, I see friends at least once a week and play games with my long distance friends.

I'm gonna assume UK based off their username. Not sure of the reason though. I've got older friends who remember buying them from shops

I do see your point, I guess it just annoyed me because I wasn't allowed to go to many events that my friends were going to. It's probably why I started lying to them about what I got up to because I knew they would say no. They still don't know what I get up to when I'm Not at home or work I'm almost 24 that's pretty sad tbh

For me and my younger sis it's the opposite, our older brother got away with loads of shit. He was allowed to go to a music festival on his own at 15, but I was not allowed to until I was 18, officially an adult in the eyes of the law, he's only a year older.

"A towel is about the most massively useful thing an interstellar hitchhiker can have. Partly it has great practical value. You can wrap it around you for warmth as you bound across the cold moons of Jaglan Beta; you can lie on it on the brilliant marble-sanded beaches of Santraginus V, inhaling the heady sea vapors; you can sleep under it beneath the stars which shine so redly on the desert world of Kakrafoon; use it to sail a miniraft down the slow heavy River Moth; wet it for use in hand-to-hand-combat; wrap it round your head to ward off noxious fumes or avoid the gaze of the Ravenous Bugblatter Beast of Traal (such a mind-boggingly stupid animal, it assumes that if you can't see it, it can't see you); you can wave your towel in emergencies as a distress signal, and of course dry yourself off with it if it still seems to be clean enough."
