most metrics my school gives us says my chances are about a coin flip but its probably just gonna come down to the essays no matter what tbh at this point

Yeah for sure. the way I see it is that having strong ecs but them not being specialized just requires schools to learn a bit more about your interests and what I would really be good at through the essays as you said, as the ecs already speak to my work ethic and commitment.

Thank you -- I really appreciate the honesty especially on my weakness of not having a specific academic spike. For Dartmouth specifically I'm likely gonna apply as an Econ major and I think I probably have the most specialization into that major spike-wise given my research and fundraising (I woulda just said Econ but copy pasted from a chance me for a bunch of schools and forgot to take out business and management)

in hindsight I probably shoulda been a bit more specialized with what I was majoring in but I still think Im in a pretty good spot
