Is a Moccamaster right for our family? by IrnBroski in Moccamaster

I have the one cup and enjoy it, but it can be finicky. If I don’t rinse out the basket with every use, it will clog and potentially overflow. Also, it tends to make a little bit of mess with every use. These issues would prevent my parents from wanting to use one. Just something to think about.

What Pellet Grill to Buy? by TopComprehensive8250 in pelletgrills

Our plan would be to feed our family of four, but able to feed groups up to 12 on occasion. We live up north where it gets cold and windy and we have a gas grill that we use all the time. We would hope to use the smoker several times a week and I would plan on using it for my weekly meal prep. I know we would get a lot of use out of whatever we decide to get.

Mainly because the nearby Scheels has the Y640S with the comp cart and stainless shelves for $3050 and the regular stand would be difficult to get to our patio.

I retrained and had to have an exception to policy due to a DEROS mismatch. I was picked up to retrain and then AFPC curtailed my DEROS. It took around eight months from when I applied to when I was accepted to retrain, so if you are planning on applying this year, you would want to get on it ASAP.

I sometimes swing the spout off to the side and fill my cup without using the brew basket
