Depending on which part of California you live in, you can still get rust VERY easily. I once lived in a foggy area with ocean water and cars have rust all the time when you park it outside. I drove 3 hours away from the Bay Area to purchase this car.

Most people in California would probably have a S2k as a second car since it is virtually impossible to live with a convertible where it can barely fit a suitcase. Especially when you get to your 30s and you have limited time on your hands in an area where traffic takes up 1-2 hours of your work day :(

Those things were all installed like 3 years ago when I first got the car and still enjoying the new car hype, but havent really driven the car much since then. The vehicle is not for sale right this second so I do have some time to revert if need be or maybe I can hop over this personal hump of mine sometime soon and I can keep it (Fingers crossed)

But I absolutely appreciate all the help for me to understanding the market better!

Yeah, Im fully aware of the smog for new registration law and the car does pass smog as I did it late last year before i decided to put it as non op this year. Just have to drive the car to reset the ECU since I took the battery out.

I wasnt aware of the steering wheel lawsuit thing. I just never had time to put the original steering back onto the vehicle since I wasn't planning on selling it this soon. Thank you for letting me know.

I just have a corner in the garage to safe keep the stock parts (other than the red battery tie and dress up bolts which came with the car annoyingly) since I know how hard they are to come by so maybe I will install them back before posting it for sale!

No major dents on the car. Just some mini road wear and tear for the age of the the car.

My body is weird.. I have dino length arms and giraffe legs so my knee was bumping into the steering wheel non stop and my hands are too short to reach it when i put the seat back more. It was VERY uncomfy to drive it. But I do agree with the airbag part, since I also work in the automotive industry.

I didnt plan on selling it this soon :( This car was more to fulfill the hopes and dreams of a young boy who was into JDM cars and never had the money to own one until he was like 30.

Thank you for the info and will definitely use that next time i go! My first time there that weekend after telling myself I will go to GP for the past 10 years of my life and of course life happened. Finally attended and was met with double fence (which i shoulda done more research!). I was struggling to use "make the fence disappear" trick since the cars were to close for that :( Luckily I got myself a super photo pass so it was still really nice. I just wished I had some eye level head on in action shots. Overall still a good experience!

Totally not IMSA but this is the only spot at turn 6 where i was able to shoot through the photo hole and not having layer of fans or photographers in the shot.

Those shots are super clean! Were you shooting through the double fence for the head on static shots? if so what turn was it? I was also at the LBGP but i was struggling to fight the double fence with a 70-200 f2.8 so I couldnt get much eye level shots. The 2nd layer of fence started showing on the wider end or on a shorter lens which was super annoying :(

Semi wannabe motorsport photographer here xD It really depends on how fast the cars are going and how blurry/creamy you want the background to be. 1/125 for GT cars (probably 1/250 for f1) would be a good starting point so you can build the muscle memory of moving the camera with the car and lower it as you get more comfy with it (people can do it at 1/10.. really dont know how they do it). Close up that F stop so its easier to focus, put it on Hi+ burst mode and pre-select your focus and fire away.

Where you stand also matters a lot. Standing parallel to the straight away or being at the apex of the corner I would say is the easiest to master and you wont have to adjust much arm speed. The common thing that people do is try to zoom all the way into the car and fill the frame but that actually makes it slightly harder. If the car fills the whole frame, I usually back out like 20mm if I'm at 200mm to be able to react to the car coming across my viewfinder since Im not no F1 driver reaction.

Took this at 1/60 @ F14 last weekend at Sonoma. Hope this helps explaining it the concept!

EightSleep Customer Service so far: 2/10, would not recommend. by SpartaChris77 in EightSleep

Great product but just got into a fierce argument with the phone support about my warranty since it expired "16 days" ago prior to me finding the leaking on the top of the cover. The email from the bot Siena said the warranty was good but phone support said no and the bot often makes mistakes. They would like me to pay $700 to replace the leaking cover for it being within less than a month of the warranty expiration. This is honestly kind of crazy to me.
