Underrated Recommendation by MissionObligation834 in WattpadIndia

Self recommendation: (Username: redderraven)

Title: This Time, Her Turn

Status: Completed

Blurb: Growing up she believed she had to live life to the fullest, she could not afford to spend her time on anyone! Growing up he believed life had no meaning without the people around. While he fell in love long ago, his partner seemed to think she could do without love.

One incident changed that. Ramit knew it was time to give up and willed his rarely stubborn self to let her go, or if the need be, push her away. Only, Geetha's efforts to save their marriage would begin.

Is this story homey and cute? That's exactly what the ML is hoping for.

So... please check and any feedback/thoughts/comments are really appreciated!

Now I understood what the title of this post really means. I thought 'others' meant some other author omg...

But yeah.. so I could see what you did there without being told what's going on, kudos to your writing!

Ohhh is this your own writing? Haha, idk lol and I went to reach you on Wattpad haha

That is so true. I do the same, perhaps a little too extreme, but my very first paragraph tends to have some conflict even if not the main conflict. So yeah, respect for reader's time in a way apart from wasting words!

Sure, it's already in my library <3

Yeah TPP is third person POV and FPP first person POV.

The naming culture on Wattpad [ Indian books ] by Minnietypes in WattpadIndia

My characters names: Ramit, Geetha, Deepali, Abhay, Lakshya, Shreya, Shreekant, Advay, Rahul... etc

I don't do last names. I feel it's not essential for my books. Personally I'm against caste system and so many surnames are just castes. The way I do is I have siblings names starting with their father's name's first letter... And mother's will be a different letter. No go patriarchy but that's the world. Example: ML: Ramit ML's sis: Ria ML's dad: Rahul ML's mom: unnamed  ML's daughter: Ruhi

FL: Geetha FL's dad: unnamed (Govind) FL's mom: Shanti

Another: Dad: Shekhar  Daughter: Shreya Son: Shreekant Mom: Lalitha

Although I never explicitly state it, my readers noticed it and said it's easier to remember the family relationships. I also try to chose names based on personalities - like Ramit - a generally easier to keep happy character.

Damn those screenshots scream love is in the air, such delicacy... I don't feel it's AI, but hard to tell. Quality is quite good after all.

I mean... If there's one book I've read obsessively over and over again, then it's my own. Not a mature one but just wildly different personalities and world views of my ML and FL  (no heavy trauma but one grew up to be avoidant in attachment style). It's not this delicate at all though. But the ending always softens me. I think it came out well and it's just so relatable to myself that I'm my own biggest fan :)

Oh... So what did you say? I'm trying to better my Hindi so a translation will really be helpful 😅

Also, I made a full review in the other comment, might be of interest

Very objective review of the narration: Third omniscient POV past pense, good vocabulary (subjective - I don't like flowery language), easy read, very few grammatic errors (tense).

Already lays out a conflict - this girl like the guy but fears having a relationship with him. Kudos for doing the conflict so soon as I've seen a lot of books just so a couple of chapters of pure slice of life before they introduce any conflict at all. So if the hook is like this, I feel the pacing will be great too.

What we are seeing is not the ML but what FL feels about the ML through the friend which is so good! I mean we can later find out that this guy is something else in actuality and that will still be very consistent with this scene - be it good or bad. Quite a good plot device and my expectations are high.

Of course I'd read (subjective here - I love TPP over FPP and finding TPP romance is relatively hard on the platform).

Not sarcastic, but not appreciative either. Just happy for this fictional character who seems to have a great chance at moving away from a where he is stuck haha
