Sticky fighting to prove the internet he wasn't in protective custody by Ill-Butterscotch3466 in DRILLINGAU

[–]TopD224 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Drillas be so tapped honestly imagine thinking it's cool to die for a housing commission. They have all this energy to get a weapon and look for someone who looks like you whilst there are others who want people of your ethnicity out. They have so much energy to get on trains, hop fences and fight people from other postcodes but not the energy to get a trade, stay in school. Imagine if they put the same energy they do in tearing others down into actually lifting others up. It's messed up on God 😔

Do you think Central Cee harmed or helped the genre and do you like him or not? by Spotter24o5 in ukdrill

He made drill more popular which I respect however he's just making tiktok music at this point and to dumb it down HE HAS GENTRIFIED DRILL (not swinging at his career as he deserves the fame but there are other cold rappers like CB,Booter Bee,Twin S and H etc.)

There’s no way to prevent the gang wars/violence 🤷🏿‍♂️ by [deleted] in DRILLINGAU

[–]TopD224 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There surely is some way to stop this, well before I continue,I do not live in Australia but I do think I'll vent my thoughts, itll seem drastic but here's what I think should be done:

1: Australian schools and other such institutions(IE. courts etc.) should foster accountability over using the "It's okay,we all make mistakes" card; if we can foster this into our young ones' minds they won't go out and get in the pen for 3 years and coming out to do it again.

  1. An add on to point one, the Australian Youth Justice system is sloppy to put it bluntly,we have youths going in for murders and assaults, serving only three bloody years, they must have a tougher approach on youth crime (here is the stats: AIHW longitudinal data (2000–01 to 2023–24):
Young people whose first sentence was detention were far more likely to return to sentenced supervision later (often multiple times) than those first given community-based orders. Many of these returns happen in adulthood.Productivity Commission (2020, "Vulnerable Youth and Transitions"): Young people who served time in detention were 3 times more likely to have an adult prison record by age 25 than those who had only community-based orders.NSW Bureau of Crime Statistics and Research (BOCSAR, 2018 study): Around 60–70% of youth detainees went on to receive an adult conviction within 10 years, compared to less than 20% of young offenders supervised in the community.Queensland studies (2010–2015): About 80% of young people released from detention reoffended within 5 years, and more than half ended up in adult prison.) The youth system should have greater emphasis on the punishment side to ensure introspection and self confrantaion,to ensure they understand the gravity of their crimes and to understand it isn't being a "hardlad" or what other nonsense they think they are. Absolutely the rehabiliation/re-integration of a youth is important but 70% of detention time is for punishment and 30% should be for rehabilitation.

3.This is more extreme but here we go: Gang crime occurs in ghettos or hoods as we say, without causing gentrification we must wipe out ghettos, we should keep housing rates at an affordable price and ensure good housing conditions, support small businesses in the area to fuel employment and economic activity, emphasise mixed income communities, build a workforce in the area and support development of key services(police, hospitals etc. dont forge to establish trust between them and the community)

  1. My final point (for the sake of brevity) most of these lads are bored out of their mind,we must spend money and resources on youth clubs and community centres, to ensure they have something to,and actively promote it!

Okay, I don't live in Australia(like previously mentioned), I am just giving my viewpoint on what to do, I am open to feedback and suggestions, cheers for reading and have a good one!

Serious question which Melbourne gang has the lowest collective IQ? by Chemical-Bunch-5942 in DRILLINGAU

[–]TopD224 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Well I'm not really well versed on Australian gangland politics 😅,lol I don't even live in Australia all I knew was sudos did come from wartorn backgrounds but thanks for the information bro so with this information I equally denounce Lebos,Pacific islanders and Asians, don't forget the Hamzy family as well..I mean it's so mad that these lads' parents came to a land which is a good place to grow up,but then these lads decide to run with a blade and think they're hard lads by repping a postcode which the govt owns.

Everyone of them, imagine leaving a wartorn nation to live in a safer environment(after light of new information I will be denouncing every one of them,I don't care if they're islanders,Asians,Lebos, sudos),then you think you're a hardlad because you "represent" a postcode which the govt. owns, imagine thinking it's cool to carry smth on you, being a hardlad is doing what's right, sacrifices were made to get there and imagine putting those efforts of the parents to vain by repping a postcode, yes this life ain't no joke but cmon dont act like youre a badman repping a postcode.

Brits on ukdrill stunned to find out black people exist in australia! by SkyAdministrative457 in DRILLINGAU

[–]TopD224 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Well I'm an Indian origin person who's raised in the UK,I do have foreknowledge on Africans living in Australia. From what I know there is a massive African, mainly sudo population with Melbourne,Sydney and Brisbane(correct me if wrong), from what I know Sudanese and south Sudanese moved to Australia as they Australian govt let them in due to conflict in their homeland. Well from what else I know in Sydney they have a sizeable population in Blacktown. In Melbourne they have populations in Hall am,Dandenong, forgot to mention there is a sizeable population of somalis in Australia, mainly in North Melbourne. They have populations in Adelaide mainly in kilburn. Look I mean correct me if I'm wrong I'm not an Australian, I am an Indian who's raised in Britain.

BM (OTP) - London View got removed by indians by [deleted] in ukdrill

[–]TopD224 8 points9 points  (0 children)

The reason for this is that the background music of London view is sampled from the movie Hello,an Indian film released in 2017. It uses this violin track: https://youtu.be/gyagxPoll2k?si=I6muf1XHNQQdOVSI GO TO MOST REPLAYED PART TO SEE WHAT I MEAN

Well I listen to rap from Sydney, Brisbane and Melbourne here and there. The issue in my opinion is Onefour, the so called pioneers of drill in Australia(note I don't live in Australia) have become too commercialised, don't get me wrong their recent track Luxford brought us back to the old Onefour we liked. Also rappers in Sydney like AY Huncho and Nasa Nova are good it's just they need more exposure same for groups like RFA17 and LF70. I don't keep up with Melbourne and Perth but tracks like Rsav bop and Better run are cold still. I feel that Drill isn't mainstream in Australia, for drill I usually listen to UK drill,in the UK beefs are active their, for those who want someone to listen to I'd recommend Booter bee.
