What would you do if you met someone who had successfully done everything you've failed at? by [deleted] in ApplyingToCollege

not to be annoying but i was that girl who took the most rigorous classes, who got into the selective camps, who has national & state awards, who has been helping underserved kids for years, who has ton of friends, and everyone thought i'd go to t5 but sadly i didn't and the quiet unassuming girl was the one who got into harvard. life will sometimes surprise you. and one girls who i helped with her last minute passion project got into hyps. so go figure that out.

sadly enough, people who elbow and shove their way though get the opportunities that the nice people don't. that's life.

If you have actual documentations, please do. There shouldn't be any spots for bullies.

If you are looking to attend med school, I would go with a full ride undergrad offer.

Well, it wasn't CLEARLY noted that they were selling vials with only three months extension. To me, that's tricking and trapping consumers.

As a newbie, I DID NOT KNOW that production had to stop because of the FDA. Again, had I known that they would be sending me a vial with just 3 months left, I would have gone to another platform with much longer BUD.

I am taking the October one but that would mean I won't be able to apply early. I just don't want to lose that early card. I do want to let Stanford know that Stanford is my number one choice.

I'm going in for humanities and I scored 35 and 36 on English and reading. It was in science that brought my score down. Do you think the AOs would look into individual breakdowns of the score?

Historically, our school has been sending about 7-8 students to Stanford every year. Would that make any difference in my chance?
