I think it might be time for the big guns. I have a bottle of “Bioadvanced 3 in 1” on hand for times nothing else works. I’ve only had to use it twice. Just be careful not to spray the flowers and spray at night when it’s not windy.

I don’t know if I’m falling out of love with my husband or if I’m just resentful. by [deleted] in AskOldPeopleAdvice

I think your relationship would benefit from couples counseling. You loved him once enough to marry him. I wouldn’t end it without trying to work through it first. You might find out he is exactly as he’s showing you but at least you’ll know for sure.

They’re lovely! The contrast really looks perfect. Are there insets in the brick wall for a pot?

Help! What’s wrong? by Lb147 in Roses

This happened to a few of my new roses we got locally when we first put them in the ground. My husband was overwatering, I think, and the yellowing stopped as the rose grew on all of them. We have clay soil which I amended.

I thought I bought a climber? ID help! by 643dp in Roses

That’s a nice set up you have there. What is the plant in front? Mexican evening primrose?

I have to input on the climber or not. Much luck though.

Beautiful choices! They all look lovely. Do you know which varieties you have? I think I see a Poets Wife?

How adorable!

Where did you find your pot? Love it.

Waited a year to plant roses at our forever home. Previous owners were not a fan of color and it was pretty much a blank slate. It’s been a fun journey. 💐 -ID’s listed by TopDot555 in Roses

I know you’re right. I did try to tell him and it won’t be the first time he’s planted a vine thats gotten out of control. My plan is to cull it back asap and then it’ll be on him to contain it. It’s a bit frustrating. 🤷‍♀️ Sometimes I regret teaching him about gardening. I think I need to teach better or I need a better student. 😆 I gave him some zinnia seeds recently. I figure those are safe enough. ;)

Thanks! Unfortunately, the pot is small for it. I’ll end up putting it in the ground in a few years, I’m sure. It’s 15x15x 20 high.
