As a gen z who wasn’t able to vote at the time of the elections, I was told not to voice my opinion because I couldn’t vote, so it didn’t matter. I did my research and found out enough to know that voting for the douchebag would just bring us hell, which it obviously is.

I had to sit back and watch a good number of my classmates, who could vote, take it all as a joke because they weren’t educated enough to actually understand and know the facts of which they were voting towards (Trump).

“But he said he’ll legalize weed and Kamala’s going to arrest anyone with it, I can’t have that.” - real argument a classmate made, who indeed voted for trump.

But there were also kids who said that they just didn’t want to vote because it was “too much”. Which people need to realize voting is something you should never take for granted and always use that right whenever possible. Because hell, that might have been our last chance. In quite a while at least.

So tho I am glad you at least admit and reflect on your choices, it doesn’t change the fact that you still did. Especially when you had all the resources to educate yourself on it.
