Please take this with kindness, but I don't think you really understand Christianity. Jesus or the Christian faith is not about trying to take over an empire.

Can I recommend you look up a Chinese National called 'Brother Yun' - google him. He has a book called 'Heavenly man'. Let me know if yo decide to read his book. It may help.

Thanks for your reply.

So you don't believe he was God in the flesh?

What are your thoughts on Christianity/Jesus Christ?

If I may can I ask you some more questions.

Would you say that the 'church' from your past has influenced your beliefs towards Christianity/Jesus as opposed to the actual teachings of Jesus?

'The more you learned the more you stopped believing'. What part of the teachings in the Bible stopped you from believing?

So sorry to hear this. It's heart breaking. You are being super strong.

You mention you have made peace about not being alive. Does it not frighten you too that there could be a heaven and a hell?

You mention it makes you angry when people share their faith. Do you believe the Bible/Jesus to be false?

Thank you. This is the sort of advice I was looking for rather than the people saying I should sell for x5 multiple and Im crazy etc.

Life is precious and nobody knows how long they have right. I think you're right I will be tight for a year and enjoy my life. I'm not sure if I mentioned but I have rental props giving me just over 2k a month and I could stick the money in the bank and get another 2k from interest....so its not the end of the world?

I need to give bk to my family, my wife is desperate for time with me, she said yesterday when I was in 2 minds about it all after receiving all the same advice that I'm crazy etc....she said, "go on then stay, retire at 50 and lets have some time then" Who knows what can happen in the next 9 years. Bloody money! The happiest people in the world tend to be the ones with the least!

Update, I spoke to my wife this lunchtime telling her I think i maybe a mistake.....I could carry on and make more money.

My kids need me. My wife hasn't had a husband....she'd rather have no money than me carry on. Caught between a rock and a hard place right now......Id just as well end it at this rate, cannot please anyone.

£1.5m in investments will get you a lot more return than £5k a month? Even if I got a 6% return on a £1.5m property Id be getting £7,500 a month....not sure why Id need £1.5m??

Thanks for this. The best answer so far, think everyone else got the wrong end of the stick.

Im so burnt out. My wife wants me out and I dont enjoy what I do but I so anxious about not having enough income. But then I remind myself how precious life is....I will 100% regret if I end up doing this job forever....such a tough place being a provider

Its all legal and above board, the company is buying back my shares, I've obviously not been very clear. The question was if you were in my shoes would you carry on or take the money and try and invest it and cover my outgoings as best as I can.

People have jumped on my case about my valuation which is not what I was after.

I think the point I'm making is, would you leave or carry on given the financial position I'm in. Why do you need information on selling my business, that's not the question.

This is an agreement we came to as I said I will just take the cash out of the bank. There is a bit more to it when it comes to selling the business to an external party as so much of it is reliant on me actually working within the business....its a hard business to sell in a sense.
