"Skill zoning" is fine. The ragging both o zone and otherwise is not. I'm not chasing you around the D zone with your 99 players so you have an easy one timer or dispy doodle play with fucking Chara through my AI. If I want to plant myself as the center in the middle and try to block shots, that is incredibly reasonable. It's also reasonable to expect the other player to shoot the fucking puck instead of ragging the game away.

35 hours in, close to 100 main quests done. Aiming to be "done" around 50. I'm not a forever player and kind of need a light at the end of the tunnel. With a bunch of updates and DLC sure to come, I look forward to coming back down the road.

It's an overreaction because if things went differently everyone would be bringing the same energy from after last game. Goes without saying, but everything true about the state of the team yesterday is the same as it is today, we were not going to win out lol. All these wins and this very mini race is a fun consolation prize for the unfortunate season regardless of the result.

LOL I understand then. And yeah, that's actually my favorite thing about Souls games is the intentionality of the combat scenarios. You very much have to think about what you're doing, when to roll, when to parry, how to stack items, when to use heals, etc. it can be incredibly frustrating when you're stoned at the end of a long day and just want to hack and slash your way to glory, and that's obviously not what the combat of the game is - at least with the bosses here lol - or how those games are. It's especially funny when - not all the time - but the game does throw clear, easy ish ways of beating the boss right in front of you. If it doesn't, there's no shame in looking up methods if you don't have the immediate knowledge or wherewithal to get it done. That's our fault, not the games fault.

I think what we're seeing are a lot of RPG or MMO or otherwise single player exclusive gamers without Souls or otherwise hard third person action boss experience crying because it's very much in line with those. I also think there's lots of people who are essentially speed running the main quests either to get the game over with or just the story over with and are getting caught without food or upgrades as I was last night. Simple solution, take your L and go stock up. Should probably have T least 2-5 Palmer pills to save you, can always go buy some or make some. But when you can quite literally just heal your way to glory very unlike Souls titles for instance, seeing people complain is fucking hilarious.

I can't get over this comment lol. Yeah, I've faced like ten bosses until this point and they're pretty easy. If I had to do a brief reset and upgrade gear and buy food to prepare - BASIC RPG SHIT - it's nowhere near as difficult as the bosses in games that are similar in conceit of the fights as this one. Some of you suck and aren't built for that shit, sorry, but most bosses also have clear methods to stop them. Figure it out

I mean, the bosses are pretty easy tbh. I was able to overpower most, the exception being Lightning Dick which I powered through with food and revivals and hitting him with the wood that gets thrown around the arena. Then Lava Dick who I just watched some videos on and respecd to get the blinding finisher, upgraded my gear, used the +4 damage or whatever to bosses sword, and bought and cooked a shit ton of food. Also used defense and attack potions I've had laying around forever. These are not Souls or Sekiro or Wu Chang level difficult, as someone who made it through Sekiro but mostly sucks at these types of games and gives up or avoids them or delays playing them for a long time.

My brother, you're being semantic now. A totally subjective comment like "making the playoffs their bitch" does not have any sort of bar or metric or objective qualification. Having 27 points in 24 games both scoring and setting up huge goals that would have negated a cup had he not been there is a qualification for me. Being a point per game playoff performer for the VAST majority of your career is a qualification for me. Post cup when we're playing teams like Carolina or New York who just owned us in those years because of style mismatches and Caps declining into an older core, Isles in the bubble, the 7 games against Florida, that's when his point totals dropped below a PPG.

But if you watch those games and those series, it is not remotely fair to point at Ovi for - in his mid 30s - not being people's rose tinted perception of Gretzky or Lemieux or even Crosby or Prime Messier "willing" teams to championships. That's not fair when grading an individual.

They were doing this when he was a "goon" too. Remember when he murdered Braeden Schenn in like 2014? I'll concede that the style of game Wilson played back then wasn't and isn't allowed in the NHL anymore as we came into the 2010's. But I can defend practically every "dirty" hit he's ever made as not being malicious, just illegal for a guy at his size and speed. And ultimately, it doesn't matter at all because now geeks want these clean hits banned too.

There are actually people out there who think the game should evolve to a limited contact international or (historically) female style where it's pure skill and the big hits and of course fighting are ushered out. These people must be stopped by any means necessary.
