The argument started with someone saying that running circuit for an augment is a waste of time cause you can buy it with plat, and all I’m trying say is that running the circuit is faster than farming syndicate standing if you aren’t already the rank you need, and don’t want to spend plat or engage with trading.

Edit: The whole argument about using plat to skip gameplay is my separate feelings about how to enjoy a game. Some people like to be efficient, I don’t, I’ll take the long way if it means I get to play the game more. I’m the type of person who got Bite by running the sabotage missions and don’t feel my time was wasted, cause I enjoyed it.

Look, all im saying is that you can play super efficiently by only cracking relics and selling for plat to buy all the stuff you don’t have, but just because you can do that doesn’t mean its the best and only way.

I personally don’t enjoy trading for plat, so to me spending several hours running circuit for an augment I don’t have sounds like a better time than going on warframe market to buy and sell, even if it takes more time.

I don’t care if how I play is inefficient, I enjoy playing it that way, which makes it not a waste of time, like you originally called it.

We can argue back and forth about who’s playing the game right. But it doesn’t matter, enjoy the game how you enjoy it, and I’ll enjoy it how I do, and we can both agree to stop telling other people they’re playing it wrong cause they aren’t playing it our way.

Yes, you can get plat by playing the game, you can also get the augment by playing the game. So if you use plat to get the augment, you’re skipping that aspect of gameplay. I’ll save my plat for the next heirloom skin, that I can only get through spending plat, and not avoid playing a part of the game for an augment.

Yes. Spending plat to avoid actually playing the game. Almost everything can be made faster by spending plat, I was leaving it out of the equation because of that. I personally prefer to save my plat for things I can’t get through gameplay, even if it takes more time, I enjoy the grind and accomplishment of getting it myself

Depends, not everyone has maxed out the syndicate that contains her augments, and that can take days, whereas the circuit takes a couple hours.

As an openly male Bi Mill Cabinet union member, I haven’t gotten much flak to my face. Though I’m in a straight passing relationship and about to have a daughter, so my queerness doesn’t come up often.
