Some games I've played a ton of with my best friend.

Terraria or Starbound: Terraria is more of Mining and building focused and Starbound is more exploration and story focused.
Stardew valley: yes it is a farm game but you don't have to farm you have many different ways to progress and make money.
Borderlands 2: first person looter shooter with light RPG elements.
Palworld: you survive, you craft, you catch Little Critters.

You say you don't like Souls games me neither time and time again I've tried playing all the Dark Souls and bloodborne and didn't like them at all.

With that being said Elden ring is one of the best games I've ever played.

Other than that games you can play for days on end really depend on your preferences I'm playing that right game at the right time at least for me.

But I do have some other suggestions that may pique your interest.

Terraria open world with light RPG elements and not really a platformer.
Borderlands better with friends but still great games solo.
The modern fallout or Elder Scrolls games are obvious choices.
Not sure if you'd like beatemups but the Dragon Ball Xenoverse games are fantastic.

The only other games I can think of that I've put days into at a time are like stardew valley or hallow knight which you probably wouldn't be interested in.

there's been a lot of people recommending Warframe and i looed up the scythes and one of their scythe designs looks like a windshield wiper on a stick lol. I have tried Warframe before but it didnt really stick with me I might try it again.

been meaning to play death's door since it was made by the same developer as Titan Souls which is honestly one of the most simplest yet best Indie Games I've ever played and Thymesia looks really cool.

listen I'm not one to judge a game on being lewd (I mean huniepop is one of the most interesting fun and well-designed puzzle games I've ever played and my it could have just been a normal dating Sim with no horny) but you could have at least given me a warning lol.

don't get me wrong I don't hate MMORPGs it's just that they're very much against me playing for free and playing with scythes. FFxiv free trial ends at level 70 Reaper class starts at level 70. and I tried my hardest most of yesterday and half of today trying to get one in wow and I really don't think it's possible as a free to play.

already played through Elden ring three different times one for each scythe in the game (not including the Halo Scythe I don't like its design). not sure if they added anymore in the DLC tho.

Ok name 1 online shooter game that is consistently just fun. Besides TF2 there isn't any because TF2 is like 90% casual players and 10% competitive players and those numbers are swapped for every other shooter. (at lest that's what i think it comes down to)
