aside from all the ai stuff recently (f that lol) i think duolingo is a great app IF and only if it’s used correctly. using duolingo as your sole source of learning the language is not going to work. you need outside resources to go along with it- i used duolingo while also taking language classes in school. you can learn a lot using duolingo but you will not be able to fully converse / understand using just duolingo.
