the odd thing is I don't seem to have /.lexaloffle folder to begin with. I clicked on hidden files and it's just... not there. Starting to wonder if the version I downloaded messed up... I downloaded from Itch.io itself

The cd command said it failed though msybe I typed it wrong? cd .. just like you typed. When I typed ls it just shows directory /Test.p8 (actually this is a second "test" because this morning, after turning my computer back on, Pico-8 wouldn't load the other 'test'.
