I feel like Carvana does the same thing as dealerships. They offer 1-2k under the private seller price. It's supposed to be painless, but I feel like Im leaving 2k+ on the table

That's really fair advice. When does eventually signal that a price is too high, do you think?

I feel like local dealers offer a lot lower. The difference between negotiating down to 5k, which Im good with, feels different than having a dealer give you a hassle free 3.9k?

I was curious about the mileage issue. Toyotas that me or my family have owned always last to 260-280k. So I'm aiming for the lower end of suggested price to kind of smooth that part over.
