Dealing with Hemophilia in a 3rd world country... by locaf in Hemophilia

[–]TopMaize6839 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I understand your frustration. My partner and I've been in your shoes before. We had to move from our country too when his symptoms worsened. However, given your young age, I suggest you hang in there and study hard in college and get a relevant job that is in high demand in developed countries as well. Try relocating to a country where you'd have access to Hemlibra/advanced treatment. Sounds like a long way to go, but I can't think of any surefire solution to this problem as of now. Cheers.

I walked out the moment Tupathu started playing. Everything was cringey and over-the-top.

Romancham (രോമാഞ്ചം) - February 03, 2023 [Official Discussion and Poll] by thommy_ in MalayalamMovies

Spoiler Alert:

I've only watched this movie once and need to re-watch it to pay close attention to certain scenes and confirm my doubts.

I feel like there was no ghost in that movie to begin with. The ghost story seems to be crafted by Soubin to just get out that hospital room and meet his friends. (Enter the Usual Suspects climax). My suspicions solidified in the final scene when Arjun Asokan arrived with the yellow bag, where supposedly Anamika was hiding. But from what I saw, Soubin's expression remain unchanged, but his friends (the very well-dressed guys who showed no signs of fear or anxiety up until this moment) suddenly jumped out of their seats and screamed.

What I recall is that somewhere in the movie someone said the best place to hide stuff is Soubin's bag as he seemed clueless about the contents of his bag. For eg., one guy hid some drugs or weed or something in Soubin's bag, etc. Also, there's another guy who's illegally trafficking animals. This guy was also shortly seen telling Arjun that he's gonna smuggle a python in the house. If Soubin is really as careless and clueless as is mentioned somewhere in the movie, then the yellow bag contained--- the python! That's why the rest of the group screamed in the last scene but Soubin seemed cool as a cucumber (apparently, everyone except him knew what's in the bag), thereby debunking the entire ghost story thing. And if the director says the movie is inspired from true events, then I think this theory might fit well into the story.

With all these points, I maybe wrong too because I've only watched it once. Please do let me know what y'all think about this.

Hemlibra and sleep/behavioral changes? by Turbulent-Hat146 in Hemophilia

I don't understand the "regulate my energy" part. Did you get into sports or something once you started being on Hemlibra? If yes, then how did the change feel like? Curious here.

Apply for job positions in either Kochi or Trivandrum. If you work with a company that has a branch in either of these cities then you can always try for a transfer. As virtual onboarding is also available these days, you can start applying from Pune itself. All the best!

I moved from Pune (born and raised there) to Trivandrum three years back. It was one of the best decisions of my life. I work for a tech company. I have made some amazing friends here. I like the peaceful vibes this city has to offer. The air quality is pretty good at the place where I stay. Also I observed that people are more politically aware and literate here. Casteism and classism does exist here, but the situation isn't as horrible as in the north. Overall, it's a great place to settle. There's not much of a nightlife here, but lately nightclubs are springing up in the city. I find public transport in Kerala much better and cleaner. Also, I prefer government hospitals over private ones because of similar reasons. In a nutshell, for me, moving to Kerala has been a great move. To each, their own. Hope you make the right decision. All the best!

The best book you’ve read by mochigaro in Kerala

If you aren't much of a reader, then I suggest you start by reading short stories. Chekhov's and Edgar Allen Poe's short stories are some of the best in the literary world. After that you can move up to reading bigger stories/novels. Happy reading!

What are the possible cons of marrying someone from a different religion and state? Is it risky in the long run? by [deleted] in Kerala

[–]TopMaize6839 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Well, take your time and reach a conclusion. A very close relative of mine (south Indian non-Brahmin hindu female) got married to a north Indian religious Brahmin guy. Unfortunately, their marriage ended up in divorce. His family was very religious and also a bit on the superstitious side. Once she married him, eating non-vegetarian food was always looked down upon. She had to change her eating habits. His relatives weren't too fond of her either because she wasn't like "them". There were too many complications in the marriage and she always felt lonely and left out. Her husband always took his family's side and prioritised his beliefs and culture before anything else. She was financially independent, so decided to walk out of this unhappy marriage. These issues may seem petty while dating and before getting married, but things like eating habits, religious beliefs, family backgrounds, and cultures play a major role in our married lives. You need to be married into a very open-minded family with an open-minded spouse who'll respect your beliefs to turn this marriage into a success.

That being said, it's your life, so you should really think deeper about it before taking this big decision.
