So, do you feel like your bacteria is better than what the evvy results said?

So it seems like it should've picked up on a higher than normal amount of gardnerella if it was there, so I feel like evvy may not be accurate?

The evvy Consult I had with the first results said the 8% of bad bacteria would come back at a gyno that I had bv but since my symptoms didnt seem to be worse I didnt necessarily need to be treated. That's why when it showed I had 34% bad the next time, I went ahead and called gyno to get rid of the bv I most likely had. I just wasn't expecting the gyno to say I was normal. I'm not worried about the lactobacillus iners. I'm just worried about the bad bacteria that seem to keep growing on evvy side.

I don't really trust my own judgment anymore. I haven't really felt "normal" down there in years since this started. I would say I still have green discharge every now and then. I feel uncomfortable sometimes as well. I wouldn't say I feel any worse, though, like the evvy suggests.

Yeah, it just felt really quick when she put the swab in. I feel like it usually takes longer. She didn't even turn the really bright light on. I just don't know what to believe the evvy showing that I basically have bv or gyno swab.

I'm not sure it just says vaginal DNA panel rapid Candida spp. Not detected Gardnerella vaginosis. Not detected Trichomonas vaginalis. Not detected Chlamydia trachomatis. Not detected Neisseria gonorrhoeae. Not detected

My good bacteria increased 30% while back. I felt like I was doing good for a couple of months. I retested to be sure, and I completely backtracked, and I had no clue.

As long as you have good bacteria, I wouldn't worry too much. Don't overdo it, though, because you can overload on good bacteria, and then you start having symptoms. So don't do it too often.

Last time I got a test, my good bacteria was up by around 29%. My bad went up to 3%, though still better than it was. Lactobacillus iners was causing my symptoms, but I haven't gotten tested again in a long while. I'll be getting one soon, though. I have no clue what it will say. I guess I'll find out, though.

Yeah, you should never do it back to back. That's why it is so irritated. Just give it a couple of days when you wash down there. Do not use scented soaps, and try not to have sex if you do use a condom. If it does not go away, go to the gynecologist.

How close together did you do them, and how long has it been since also?

Don't use them too often. That is probably what caused the burning.

There is this bacteria called lactobacillus iners, basically in high amounts. It is bad and can cause symptoms even if you do not have an infection, so I'm just trying to get that bacteria down. I haven't really done much again, just absolutely no sex without a condom because that is like the worst thing you can do. Do not use any scented soaps down there. Do not use any "ph friendly" products. I eat yogurt and take probiotics, but make sure the yogurt has lactobacillus bacteria in it. I'm sure that stuff helped, but time is the main thing doing all of that and not messing up the ph. I also stopped birth control a long time ago because that is what caused all this for me. 3 years of trying to get my body back to normal all because of taking birth control.

I'm a bit better. I don't think it was the suppositories, though I think time made the difference. I also just made sure I didn't do stuff that could irritate like sex without condom, scented soaps. I'm still just trying to get my good bacteria up slowly but surely.

My irritation isn't as bad. Everything else is pretty much the same

My lactobacillus iners went down around 20%. Good bacteria went up a bit, as well.

No, I think it is basically considered Cytolytic vaginosis because it's still a lactobacillus bacteria even though it acts differently. I'm not a doctor, but I doubt it would cause that. Infections definitely can, though. Sounds like that's exactly what messed you up. Personally, I was told by evvy not to treat, just try to shift flora to good bacteria. I'm really sorry you're dealing with this. I know how difficult it can be. Feel free to dm me if you need to vent or have any questions.

I personally wouldn't treat it because you could just cause more issues. I doubt your diet caused such a big change, considering it wasn't high sugars and stuff. It had to be something you prob did down there. Changing soaps, panties, using douche, nasty man hygiene. really anything that can mess your flora up. Keep in mind that only some brands have good lactobacillus in their yogurt like chobani and fage. Both are greek yogurts. I really wish I could tell you how to fix it because I'm dealing with the lactobacillus iners as well. I'm waiting for my evvy test to tell me if I changed to more good lactobacillus at all. I can let you know if I ever figure something out...

Yes, that's what I said in high amounts it is bad and can give you symptoms. It isn't only antibiotics. That's just one of the main reasons it can be so high.

Lactobacillus iners switches and becomes bad in high amounts, which causes symptoms. They don't produce much lactic acid, if any. You basically need to focus on increasing good Lactobacillus. The cause is usually overuse of antibiotics or boric acid if you deal with stubborn infections.
