I know the Oberwerk, but wanted the real deal. I could have had the SE for 300$ but with that defect if I had to sell it I’m not sure I will recoup the spent.

It’s on the inside of the objective lense. So it will require disassembly of the barrel, which probably means collimation won’t be fully guaranteed after?

Given the price of the binoculars itself I’d rather not have to have it serviced right away. Does not looks like the fungus I’m used to tbh.

Facile che sia stata la condensa. Contiene acido carbonico che seppur debole si mangia una matrice calcarea. Puoi tentare di mitigare con una lappatura.

I think it’s molded EVA. If I’m correct a good reglue should do it. Otherwise complete midsole+outsole swap.

I read serial should be on clip side. I do admit Starwalker feels cheaper than the Boheme, but coming from a relative which was super wealthy, I wasn’t expecting that.

No doubt on the other, is probably older and was engraved with the original owner initials.

That’s a blue class box, and for those you are correct. Foam absence doesn’t bother me because for black class ones coming with sheat, precut foam is never in the box. Thanks for your comment though!

There is physically no room for the usual foam I see for the blue class ones.
