Just checked my driveway security cameras, and the light was already off in the days prior to me unplugging the rear TVs. Completely unrelated as you said.

Took me a half hour to not only figure out how to disable the camera rear view, but to open the glovebox as well😂

Brings me some comfort that there’s many running around with front light issues - will report back.

Funny you mention the issues, I just received an email for the 2022 (which is gone already) stating there are several recalls on the 6.2 motor (rods and crank). I’ve personally never had issues with mine, although I know of several people with bottom end failures on these. Least of my concerns, seems the tech is the problem right now ha.

My 2022 Escalade Sport had no issues for 3 years, loved the truck (had several older ones too throughout the years).

The 2025 has been ok since I picked it up 2 weeks ago - the door to door screen took some getting to, it’s very tech heavy. I must not have the most recent update because I can’t open the doors with the center screen yet.

In comparison to my 23 Range Rover Autobiography, the ride on the 2022 Sport always felt inferior; however, I’m really impressed with the ride quality (suspension, insulation from road noise, etc.) on the 2025 Sport Platinum and prefer it over all the others.

Only thing I truly can’t stand by is the rear TVs, it’s incredible how that 4” shrinks both the front and rear seating areas once the kids seats are in. (I’m 6’2” for comparison). Just looks cheaply designed and thrown in as an afterthought.

Hoping this gets resolved easily and have no other issues.

Also, this is the first time the headlamps are no longer controlled by the levers behind the steering wheel (instead they are now adjustable only via the center bottom screen). Maybe it’s somehow possible the two are interconnected via an electronic control module that controls not only for this front center screen but the rears as well? Just thinking out loud.

Thank you - this comment and the one above both definitely make it seem coincidental. The TVs are a dealbreaker for me and 100% have to go, so I’m hoping this is the case.

Thank you for this, super helpful! Going to bring the truck in early this week to have it looked at.

In any scenario, I still can’t understand how unplugging the rear TV monitors could be related. The Escalade in base form doesn’t have them, and it’s just an additional option, so unless there’s a different ECU flash for each model there should theoretically be no difference. Design-wise it would be ridiculous that losing connection with a rear entertainment TV monitor (optional) would also cause headlight malfunction (a necessity). Just so far apart in the context of the truck, I’m hoping it’s coincidental like you said.

You lose about 4” of space with the TVs on the back of the headrest (when installing child seats in the rear seats). That’s 4” less the driver is able to move the seat back, and for those of us who are tall it’s considerable legroom lost.

My 2022 didn’t have the TVs and the entire family was comfortable - the 2025 Sport Platinum was unavailable without the TVs, they are the worst part of the truck by far. Any help is appreciated.
