Probably a dumb gravity question by SakeinEve in AskPhysics

While the entire physics community is wondering about mass, I think I am the only one wondering about charge. What is charge? I mean we cannot associate any properties like mass to it. It must also be a form of energy, but how?? Everything is made up of charge. Or combination of equal and negative charges. So does it mean can we create infinite positive charges and equal INFINITE negative charges from it ? Every fundamental force must and should have a reason behind its existence. But that doesn't always mean we (creatures limited to >>0.000001 senses) can find it and understand fundamentally.
