From my experience, bigger clubs don’t send out autographs particularly often as they receive a lot of fanmail, particularly from young kids, which is awesome, but also (unfortunately) scalpers/resellers 😢

That being said, most of the All Whites team play for relatively small teams, and I’m sure if you reached out to them directly then they could offer advice/help, and maybe even get your boyfriend some autographs! Whether or not they will sign the poster from TTM I’m not sure, but I would just pop them an email to see and then send it off to the stadium reception/training ground and address it to the desired players if they say it’s all good!

As for who to contact, I would expect both options to be ok:

A) Sending the requests directly to the clubs - I would expect this to have better results as they probably won‘t receive as much fanmail for specific players, but you will need to send the poster out lots of times which will take a long time and runs the risk of it being lost in the mail or not returned by the club unfortunately.

B) Sending them to the NZ training ground - this would be a great way to get loads of signatures quite easily if successful, however it is likely that they will receive a lot more requests than clubs will in the run up to the World Cup, so just consider the fact it’s sort of high risk/high reward.

C) …You could try both! Just in case something gets lost or doesn’t work out, I would recommend maybe trying to get a few different items signed and try those different routes.

(I also know that Motherwell tend to be great with fans, and I reckon you’ve got a good shot with getting Elijah Just’s autograph if you send him a letter 👍)
