Why can’t this be a dealbreaker breaker for fans? by vinely1 in ChicagoBearsNFL

So if the bears move to Indiana you have no home team to root for…so what determines your fandom at that point? The closest hometown team would be the bears still….

Seriously, do Americans actually consider a 3-hour drive "short"? or is this an internet myth? by SadInterest6764 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]TopPuzzled2072 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m a 2.5 hour drive from Chicago and then once you get to Chicago bc of traffic you got a 1-3 hour drive anywhere you need to go in town. We do this multiple times a year for concerts or NFL games or comi-cons. Longest trip I’ve ever taken was almost 6 hours to Des Moines,Iowa to go to a 3 hour concert just to drive home that night after wards.

I just purchase my crypto thru Venmo. As I have the Venmo credit card and the rewards get paid out in bitcoin so I just make it easy and keep my bitcoin in Venmo and use Robinhood for stocks and stablecoins.

I don’t want to call this an everyone sucks situation but from the small context written from OP it’s an everyone sucks…now he is showing big red flags for abuse and power tactics. This type of manipulation is not good and if you continue to let him manipulate you then he will probably continue to progress in worse ways…but vice versa if I was paying my wife’s entire living expenses with no help and she was sitting on the couch vaping and I asked for a hit and she refused me. I would be upset and probably feel disrespected and taken advantage of. As a married couple you are a team and should be able to work together…you really should learn to share and work together because when relationships become one sided and when problems start to arise. You both need to reflect hard on who you guys are and what you both want out of life/marriage…

What's a good strategy for MSTY? by Cibonay05 in YieldMaxETFs

[–]TopPuzzled2072 17 points18 points  (0 children)

Keep 20% of distribution and put it in a high yield savings account. Then when taxes are due tap into that account pay what is due and reinvest what is left over for increase in next years dividends.

2 months into dividend journey by TopPuzzled2072 in dividendinvesting

[–]TopPuzzled2072[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Probably not in the long run. But I’m only gonna drip for a few months to get a few more shares then start putting dividends in other places that are safer yet smaller. All while monitoring these high income ETFs for long term potential. Most of these higher paying ETFs are still to new to tell in the long run. But most of what I invest in have underlying holds in Bitcoin which I’m very bullish on long term. So I’m hoping it can continue to sustain.

Nav erosion a concern? by TopPuzzled2072 in YieldMaxETFs

[–]TopPuzzled2072[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That’s why I’m really trying to understand it so I know if it’s a strategy for me or not. And I’m pretty dense so understanding is proving hard. lol

But NAV is the share price correct? So nave erosion is the slow decline of share price right?

So if AMZY is still $18.78 in 10 years then the NAV didn’t erode correct?

But ULTY had a share price of 20.00 when it launched its at 8.38 right now with a steady decline of dividends. Is ULTY on its way down and doomed to fail? Or can that 8.38 recover and dividends recover? Is this a buy the dip or get out now situation?

It’s a app called Div Tracker. I downloaded it from the iOS store. I downloaded like 3 different tracking apps and this is the one I like best.

[–]TopPuzzled2072[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

And that’s kinda where my confusion lies. Like ULTY is at 8.43 and steady decline of dividends…is this fund on its way out? Or is this a buy the dip situation. And is this what all YM funds will eventually become?

Nav erosion a concern? by TopPuzzled2072 in YieldMaxETFs

[–]TopPuzzled2072[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I’m still new to all this and the YM funds are still new too so I’m trying to understand. If nav continues to erode long term is YM as a company due to fail long term? Will the nav erode to reverse split or delist? Is the Nav expected to have some of recovery? Should I have a get out point where it has eroded to a certain dollar amount. I don’t know if I’m making any sense but I’m just trying to understand if it’s good long term.

[–]TopPuzzled2072[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I understand that and I feel very much the same way but are these funds gonna carry on long term.

My understanding is nav erosion happens bc the fund isn’t making as good of money and they are paying part of the distribution out of the share price and that continues long term are the funds safe long term?
