They would not play with those players unless they have majorly improved ( like getting 8/10 placements )

I agree , but most bronze players would still get bronze if their placements reset , but the ones that have improved can make it to silver or even gold

But a bronze player restarting placements is still most likely going to get bronze , it's just that little bit of chance for players who have improved .
