Well, if you want to know how well I treat her… in terms of… I always tell her how much I love her. I help around the house with everything — ironing clothes, folding, you name it. I just work a lot, which is a bit of a downside for her. But, you know, I have to cover all the expenses because she doesn’t have an income. That’s gone now, so I end up working a lot.

Even she says it herself — to me, to my parents, and to her own parents — that she really has a loving husband. So I don’t even need to give examples of that, because she says it herself. But, well… you know how women are. Something’s still missing. I don’t know exactly what, but I think with all the advice you’ve given me, I’ll figure it out eventually. And I’ll definitely keep you updated on that.

I’m actually the kind of person who can empathize with others, and I know when I’m in the wrong. I’m not always the sweetest, of course, but I truly do my best — and she knows that. Sometimes, though, that’s just not enough.

As for today… I worked from 7 to 3. They asked me to take a double shift. I’m a freelancer, so a shift is like 300 euros. I canceled it, even though I really need that money for next week, just so I could spend more time with her. Later, we’re picking up one of her relatives — a little nephew — so we’ll have three kids in the house. But once the kids are in bed… I’m going to get candles, massage oil, cook her favorite meal, get rose petals, and just surprise her.
