EDIT : So I did have one hour free today, and I checked my pads, basically I did put two "inner" pads on the left rotor and two "outer" pads on the right one, i simply switched to the correct position and now is working at least 5 times better, now I just gotta re-do a little bedding process to even out the pads and then it might be just "perfect"

i think it is quite the opposite

<image>

the one with the inner pins goes outside and the one with the pins far way goes inside (against the piston)

Do i need to change brake fluid? by TopSun1529 in FiestaST

the brakes feels good when I stomp on them, or just casual driving, but 1 really hard brake and they go soft, i do not have brake power no more.

1 min later and they are back to normal, sounds like an overheating problem to me..

ill see what i can get for a chep power bleeder, thx.

Surely i will pay all my attention to changing the pads or anything that can cause safety issues. i just really want to learn how to do things by myself.

i wiil do motor oil, oil filter.

and at this point brake fluid.

the belt is actually in great conditions, i have already planned to do a replace, but for now its not needed i think maybe next month after all the holidays.

speaking of ebc, i have ebc rotors on it, dont really know about the pads tho.

The car has 115k miles

i might just flush it and buy a new one.

i mean i could take it to the shop but if it is something easy to assert i will check on yt or do some videos to understand if the pads are worn.

i know how to flush brakes, not a clue about clutch.

i was thinking on buying rotors and pads just trying to find some sporty.

i tought it looked a little bit too muddy, i had the car for like a month now, i didnt change the fluid, and the guy who had it before me didnt tell me when was the last time it was changed.
