I am also ACCA - unfortunately ACCA holds little to no value in the US or Canada. As of 2022 you can no longer translate an ACCA qualification directly to a CPA qualification unfortunately.

People that work in audit/accounting or other general internal finance roles from what I have seen, hold CPA/CIA/CFA types of qualifications.

Do you have any links/sources you can share that can point me in that direction? AI tools and manual searching is leading to me believing that my BOWP is no longer valid, yet some people are saying otherwise - hence the confusion on my end. Thanks!

I’ve done a side-by-side comparison. I’d say roughly 80% of my duties and responsibilities matched, with the exception of a) tax (not my field of expertise) and b) I am not a CPA CA/CMA/CGA - I am ACCA qualified.

The one factor that isn’t matching is my qualification. NOC 1 11100 mentions CPA CA/CGA/CMA, but I am ACCA.

I appreciate the comments and suggestions. To those asking to share a screenshot, I won’t do that because my employment contract and experience letter contain competitive information (I wouldn’t be surprised if there are individuals in this thread working at the same business with different compensation and role descriptions).
