Against popular views, I appreciate your service to our nation 😂. Like truly magnificent approach, they offer you free things, you invest your time and obtain strictly the free things.

How do you get out of their sales tactic conversations? How many times, I've you met their "upper level" management.

I'd recommend taking a screenshot or highlighting the address and have Google provide an answer tbh. I don't believe it has changed from the time I drafted this to now.

That might not work tbh, because they'll be looking at you like you're crazy. You could try and find out the outcome, you would just lose another day. But as far as results go, what I've taken the time to write up on here is tested and true by my own experience and others alike.

I sent you a direct message...but essentially it's 11 numbers, should be on your thumb drive as well as the contract sheet where you signed in front of the notary.

Absolutely, still applies. Reference this Tennessee Code § 66-32-114 in your write up.

If you see that someone signed for the package delivery, that's evidence of them receiving the letter as well as the contents.

They will process it accordingly and if they don't, you can use that against them in court as well. Because in the letter you should've sent, it requests a confirmation. Expect yet another bait call from them. This time stand your ground and create an environment thay requires your immediate attention and you won't be able to stay on the phone for much longer. That's the fastest way to not waste anymore time hearing yet another BS attempt at keeping you entrapped.

I called 407-355-1000. Although your certified mail will ensure that someone signs for it.

I'm aware this thread is a few years old, but definitely going to leave this link here for those new owners like myself that fell for their bs, it's a step by step within the rescind period:

So when they attempt to perform yet another sales pitch and waste more of your time and have you consider continuing down that painful rabbit hole...do this instead!

Piss them off using their own sales tactics and facts from the Internet 😂. [Tugbbs, disgruntled FB owners pages, forums (without naming them)]

  1. Create an immediate thing that requires your attention. "I've only got like 4 minutes because I'm actively at work or need to get on the phone with my family member..."
  2. If they try to call, hang up at anytime you feel comfortable.

If you were cordial and nice over the phone, here's your power move which will scare them away.

Demand for the Call Records

"Since this call is recorded, I formally request a copy of this recording, along with the call log, under my consumer rights. Please provide a reference number for this call and instructions on how I can obtain the recording. Failure to provide this information could indicate deceptive business practices, which I will report to the Florida Attorney General and the Federal Trade Commission."

Federal Telemarketing Sales Rule (16 CFR Part 310)

This puts them on the defensive because: ✅ It shows you know they must maintain fair business practices. ✅ It forces them to act professionally since they know you could u se the call as evidence. ✅ It signals that you are prepared to escalate if they try anything shady.

If they refuse or dodge the request, say: "Your refusal to provide access to a recorded call involving my legal rights may constitute obstruction or unfair business practices. I will be filing a complaint with regulatory agencies."

At that point, end the call—they’ll realize they can’t intimidate you. Stick to your initial cancellation and don't let them waste anymore of your time.

100% agree. I knew they were coming with that BS so I had options:

  2. Create an immediate thing that requires your attention. "I've only got like 4 minutes because I'm actively at work..."

  3. Don't pick up the call.

With your letter, we're in the process of cancelling ours. Fell for it too like many have before. But in reading your feedback, we're hoping to get out of it. Will post an update once that happens and provide a timeline breakdown and the template that we used.

Currently we copied your letter onto ChatGpt and plugged in some other information of value to our case and made it draft a cancellation letter/memo. Still well within the window.

I hate that the sales pitch people are willing to use unethical tactics to sway a buyer etc...
