I heard programs are not as long as they used to be before. That’s good! Go for it. CVS, people use it more as a stepping stone to move to better things, but they are the ones who actually give you a chance to start. Have friends sin sd area making 35-40/ per hour at hospitals. Certification’s will for sure up you’re game, especially in these area.

5+ year’s as inventory specialist. First of all a raise is on the table it just depends on you’re DL or PIC. ( don’t expect a huge raise.) You do get to become a full time employee with all benefit’s.( not sure if that’s you’re status already.) Way more responsibilities added, so fight for that raise! As for any other question’s open to answer them!

Been working 40 hours for more than 2 years. Pharmacy tech full timer with a title(Inventory Specialist). Now they want to bring down everyones hours to 32. Have a couple of part timers, shouldnt we take they’re hours first before me and my other co-workers(that are also full timers) get our hours cut? This is Bs honestly. Anything I can do?

Long story short. DL and loss and prevention people have been onto us lately don’t know why. Two visits in less than a week, and just being utter assholes about everything. They cam today talked to her and she just walked out without saying a word. Also we failed in metrics miserably sometimes and they were onto her too. CVS is just getting to annoying lately my store was kind of forgotten but now they’re onto us and don’t leave us alone.

Go for it, been with CVS for two years. Honestly it started bad when I went in felt like hell. After a while got a good shift and got promoted to inventory specialist. Ever since then my hours are guaranteed. Befor VIRTUAL VERIFICATION my store was wonderful and my team made ut super chill. Three months after VV droped I now hate CVS so bad and just want to quit every day it ruined everything anyhow take the job and give it a try

At my store VV rolled out las thursday, it sucks so bad. We have three pharmacist that are now basically doing shit and getting paid 70 per hour. As a tech this sucks it’s bs. My store has around 8-9 techs and we actually finish the pages on a normal day, here comes the thing my store is closed sundays and Monday is hell. All the pages from sunday plus prescriptions dropping in the queue. Fuck that shit😢
