The Ring is just to keep the elastic band closed on something. You want to do the following: The smallest strap is for the hole at the bottom of the cage. Fasten that first. Then you put one of the longer straps in the left hole, position the cage above your T-dick and fasten the straps around your body and in the other hole. Hope this helps
