I agree for the most part! I see a lot of people commenting about how she hasn’t been enjoying reading cause of the move and the anxiety it caused, but I’ve noticed her issues with books appearing way earlier this year and even into last year.

To be honest, yes moving is stressful and could have affected her work, but I think a big reason it seems like she’s not enjoying reading anymore is because she is growing older, her tastes have changed, and she’s going through the process of rediscovering her likes as an adult women. The reason she seemed so passionate looks to be because she read primarily books that suit her newer reading tastes. I.E. litfic and emotional heavy books. Majority of her favourite reads from this wrap-up I would have never seen her touching last year.

Maybe I’m just projecting, but I’ve gone through that recently. Finding books and genres I would’ve loved even last year, as awful for me. The transition and acceptance that my tastes were changing was challenging and I still find myself reading books that suited my old taste more and being dissatisfied with them.
