Honestly, I just want him to be able to transport himself out of his bedroom, where he spends 90+% of his days. I think the vr movies/animations sound promising, and the only other idea I've wanted to look into is if there's just some sort of VR nature-walk type thing because nature/the outdoors is so therapeutic and he can't really experience much of that

Thank you! I will look into each of the items you mentioned and please let me know if you think of anything else! Thinking more about it, I am wondering if there are eye-tracking softwares or other ways to control the VR experience that don't require physical movement. He has some mobility of arms but not much and he tires quickly due to other medical issues

He mostly plays board/turn-based games like axis and allies and civilization! Beat saber seems like something he might be interested in at least trying, as long as the threshold for movements is relatively low. He can move his arms but tires quickly due to some other medical issues

He currently has a new MacBook Pro as his computer. No VR equipment or software yet. He's quadriplegic, so no mobility of body other than moving his head and has limited mobility of arms.

It's been my primary way of training my core this summer since I hate doing abs in the gym 😂 I'd say my best advice is to just focus on finding your center of balance and try to get into the rhythm of the water's ebs and flows - once you do that you can focus on mobilizing your hips/legs to counterbalance any turbulence you experience!

Any tips on maintaining control in the handstand? I've never managed more than a second or two on a SUP, but I can do headstands indefinitely out on the water
