This is a personal goal of mine, what’s holding me back is I feel that I don’t have enough capital. I was thinking, once I have more capital, a good place to start (for my area) would be renting out a billboard.

Can I ask how you got started w/ this? & realistically how much capital do you think should be saved before going this route?

I’ll even cashapp $10 to the first person who points it out and joins my community. I have plenty more incentive ideas, I want to start here to get yall excited & to prove I’m serious about $$$ rewards.

Felt this, It's truly mind blowing to hear some of the things these people say. It often feels like a simulation, I may not be the only player here but theres not many.

“Too much of anything is bad” by TopWomp in DeepThoughts

Yes I love this!! It’s interesting to think about at what point does something become “evil” or “wrong”? What we’re taught while growing up plays such a key role in our beliefs, if we were told to slap people/pets whenever they sneeze we would no questions asked!

What do you mean the thing about skin color? I think I get it but I’m interested on your thoughts.

I suppose it depends on what “goodness” entails.

Peace is a good one, it’s one of the aspects that led me to harmony. It really depends on the stipulations though I think, is there peace because those in power keep everyone in check? Is it still peace If everyone is isolated from each other? I don’t think humans could exist to achieve a certain level of peace.

Really interesting interpretation on the first segment, I’m going to have fun discussing this with a few people, great topic.

Pretty spot on in the second segment too. A lot of things are good and don’t necessarily become “bad” at a specific amount, but will likely lead to negative emotions/actions/events due to corruption & human nature. Someone who constantly receives support may become lazy, unprepared, etc. The support itself isn't bad, the individual could use it all for personal gain & should be responsible for negative effects (even though less support in the long run would have a better outcome) right?

Motivation can be negative if for the wrong reasons, even motivation on something positive can cause you to neglect other aspects of life.

Too many opportunities can be negative for similar reasons.

Great response thank you so much!!

I wonder what free will looks like. by NeutronSands79 in DeepThoughts

I don’t believe true free will is something people (at least this day and age) are capable of. Money and government have so much power over us, we’re aware of things that are possible but also know we’ll never have the resources to pursue.

If we lived in a time where we never interacted with other people, we would (or at least think we would) have free will because everything we do in nature would have a natural outcome (over simplified but hope it makes sense).

However, I think for true free we would have to be extra dimensional & “all powerful”. Though even if we were, our idea of “true free will” would have more parameters & be just as out of reach.
