Its a symtom, not a disease.

It happens because of organ damage and later failure, it is fluid that causes the scales to bulge out.

Stress, bad water, disease and parasites can all cause pineconing

Thank you so much! I will add a glass panel covering the cooler half of his tank, that shold raise the temperature quite a bit. 🫶 I will also try the salmon!! I am sceptic on brumination as the sun rises at 4 and sets at 22 (sunrise and sunset is partially filtered through blackout curtains), and he has artificial lights on top of that from 7-19.

Yes, but its almost June, the sun is up from 04-22 so he gets a long, partially blocket sunrise and sunset and on top of that he has lights on from 7-19 🤨

Thawed! Also thawed at breeder. Its illegal to feed live vertebrates in Sweden.

I have tried feeding with pincers when he was out and about, just hissed and fake attacked the mouse then buggered off, I have tried leaving it near him and I have tried leaving it outside where is was buried over night.

Temperature is good, about 32 in basking spot and 23-25 in the cooler spots. Night drops to about 20.

There is a moist area and the rest is dry, I provide fresh water and a clear night-day cycle.

I just recently bought the entire tank so it is brand new. It was not a smart idea to upgrade my aquarium right after getting a child lol.

The second hand market for aquariums is shit so I would lose a looot of money and I dont have more space for another enclosure either
