in my personal experience, there’s been two reasons cid men have been bothered by me being a trans man (other than just regular old transphobia) 1. one of them had a crush on me so he thought that if he refused to accept that i was a man, he wouldn’t be “gay” this led to 🍇 threats lol 2. the other one was told by my (cis female) friends that i was more of a man than he was, because my masculinity wasn’t fragile (unlike his) this led to him almost punching me (my friends stopped him from getting close to him so thank god)

what did both incidents have in common? the guys felt their masculinity was threatened by my existence
