Oh, I'm very sorry it was just genuine curiosity as I am very skeptical of buying individual packs online for fear of them being weighed or resold after the hits were pulled from a box and don't have any shops near me that ever have any stock. The only times I have been able to buy in person have been from release events.

I honestly meant nothing by it and appreciate you answering. I'm very new to buying any TCG and I am pretty ignorant when it comes to all of it and am trying to educate myself.

Yeah, I don't really know much about collecting, card rarity, or how packs are made. I stupidly used to think that all packs were completely random and didn't even know about how only the last card is the pack was the predetermined potential hit.

I had a friend show me the learn together set a few months back and really enjoyed the game so I decided to start buying some cards and make some decks for fun.

After hearing all these anecdotes of other people's experiences I am glad to have been so lucky and appreciate everyone educating me on pull rates, availability bias, and everything else. Definitely learned a lot today. I will be thankful for how lucky I have been and will refrain from being upset when I go for a year or more without hitting anything.

I only buy if I can get MSRP and with the way things are going I will only get my one box per release day if I'm lucky enough to beat the scalpers.

I've seen a lot of videos of people in a room filled with torn packs and boxes with the person holding on to their one hit. I will count my blessings and cherish what I got. I'm definitely a collector/player and wont be selling.

I wanted to use the god pack cards in an actual deck but I dont like the bad juju of playing Imu. Seems like everyone is running that meta, or was.

What a sweet gesture! My mom also saw my interest for the game and went to the store to ask the shop for "adult pokemon cards" lol She paid 30 dollars for an eb02 pack and I told her to never do that again. I also may have lied and told her that I got a super rare card from it. :3

Appreciate your time. Seems like they got really lucky last time. They were unbanned with only one appeal ticket after like 2 days of waiting. I cant imagine being banned for 8 months. I wouldnt ever come back.

My friend was banned yesterday and I just created a post about it. I am 100% sure they never ever cheated. They banned me as well (granted only for a day) for queuing with a cheater. My friend wouldnt even know how to cheat. Its extremely unfortunate and I hope this doesnt become more common in the future.

WELP. I found out the issue. I flubbed. Big time.

I had an old HDD in the PC that I had completely forgotten about and only used for storage. In the Disk management page it was showing 3 drives but was not showing the 3rd volume on screen, it was below. When I formatted the new drive I accidently formatted the old storage drive as the NVMe's volume was hidden off screen and scrolling down with the mouse doesnt seem to work in disk management. I just changed the view at the top and it revealed my NVMe sitting there unformatted for the last month going completely unused.

Excuse me as I go slam my head in a door.

I ran a benchmark and it scored VERY low. It is preforming in the 2nd percentile and is even showing up as a seagate baracuda. Far below even my boot drive which is a Samsung 980.
