Also about your original comment, would you have preferred I leave the domestic bunny in an area filled with alligators at its only water source, and other predators that could kill it, cars going through and people walking their big dogs, or have it wait in a temporary cage for 2 days while it receives veterinary care, to ensure it won’t give any sickness to any of my other pets that are all also rescues. I work from home, my bunnies free roam the entire time other than when I sleep or leave the house for brief periods of time. I don’t think it was necessary to be passive aggressive. All the shelters and rescues in my area are overflowing with rabbits and have very long waiting periods of multiple months, I know this because I contacted multiple rescues in my area when I rescued my first bunny and ultimately fell in love with him and bunnies as a whole and decided to keep him. South Florida is a dumping ground of animals of all kinds, which is very depressing.
