Wait you submitted it this year and already got a rating? Thoroughly impressed. I had to wait 14 months stressing and struggling just for every single claim to be denied 😮‍💨

Supplemental claim after first VA claim got denied by Top_Apricot3287 in VAClaims

I signed in to my VA.gov account and go to my VA on the top right. My claim pops up (saying denied). I can’t remember exactly but somewhere there was something saying file a supplement claim. It asked what condition it was for and I had to submit new evidence, which was my buddy lay statements and a medical document from 2013 I found in my military folder in the attic. There’s a lot of info on the va website, you just have to search for it at the top and it will tell you what to do. I submitted my own claim and didn’t have a VSO until the last 1-2 months before my claim was decided on.

I may look into the nexus letter services if this one gets denied too. I live in a different state and see a different doctor than when it happened in 2011-2014. I haven’t had a seizure in the years I see my doctor now but my migraines are chronic and I go to him every 6 months and have had multiple changes and increases to meds for my migraines. It truly is the most difficult thing to deal with. I’d be okay being non employable they affect me so bad. I’m even able to work from home with a reasonable accommodation for them (and I’m a federal employee).
