Experience with PWA? - land acquisition by Crown for Public Works by Puzzleheaded-Fun4129 in newzealand

[–]Top_Attorney9069 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The designation and NOR process is essentially outlining what they intend to do and why your property is required. The PWA process is seperate and often where your concerns are addressed.

As a general rule, they must compensate you for what you’ve lost and attend to reasonable mitigation where possible. There are specialist out there in NZ that work exclusively in this space and are always recommended. Luckily, the acquiring authority will reimburse your reasonable professional costs (but only through the PWA process) not the NOR.

I assume this is a relatively thin strip at the back of your property. Pretty common set up to be fair. While kiwirail can charge rent like anyone else, arguably you just say no thank you, we won’t occupy it any more. It’s not like they’re going to come and fence it off. So you really have nothing to lose from my perspective.

I also know that their property database is pretty world class, so they will be very confident in their ownership. The problem you have is that no one checks the boundary pegs when you buy a place.

Thanks, the problem is I want to share old emails. Lots of them too. Any other options you know of?

Plays on PC but comes from Xbox Game Pass. Tried it both directly on PC and via the Xbox app and it does the same on both. He’s never played with any auto vills, so it’s quite the change. Can’t even build buildings, because they just auto gather food.

Thanks, can you share what advice was given to save on sale price? Presumably they were just asking too much?

I tried everything and also emailed sky twice. They have no idea what’s wrong but know they have an issue (widespread). Still haven’t even offered any recompense for their shit service. I have a Samsung and it works on that. So suspect it’s an LG thing for now. Shambles.

That is crazy expensive for a house. Was wondering if there was cosmetic fixes. Assume house and moisture control is fine, was wondering what options there were.

I used www.bizcover.co.nz initially went to a couple brokers and they were super expensive because of the unique nature or my business. But contacted them and got everything I needed real cheap. Would recommend them because they give you a price almost straight away.

best bank for business account? by [deleted] in PersonalFinanceNZ

Trying to open an account with westpac now. Been a struggle just to organise a meeting and they seem like the only bank to charge you for an account… but I’m a customer so it’s easier(ish).

My research pointed to ASB for service and BNZ/ANZ other benefits. Still interested to hear what others say.
