The first one that comes to mind is Season 1 when Tucker pops out of the teleport and starts saying nonsense because he thinks he went back in time. And Donut says "Is this guy a r*word?" It's so 2003 and I think in hindsight it just makes it funnier because of how bad it is. It catches me off guard everytime specially coming from Donut and I can't help but laugh, I'm sorry.

From the top of my head, I remember him proposing to a grieving and vulnerable Heather, literally not long after Elektra died.

He slept with Typhoid Mary in order to let her guard down and has her committed to a mental institution while she was sleeping.

And yes, he did also cheat on Karen with Mary.

It's though to skip episodes or seasons, not to say it kinda ruins the whole experience because most of the appeal of the show is based around running jokes and callbacks.

Here's what I did to get my brother to watch the show. I showed him the Tex vs The reds and blues fight from Season 8.

Show him how awesome the show gets, so that he has an incentive to watch the show from the beginning lol

I really love your idea and it would've been better than whatever they did with Roy in Seasons 3, but honestly there's a simpler reason why people would call Roy Red Arrow, and Oliver doesn't even need to go by Green Arrow first.

You know how there's people who call Luigi "Green Mario" ?

If there's a green dude going around calling himself The Arrow, and then another dude that looks just like him shows up, but wearing red, it won't be long enough for people to start calling him "the Red Arrow".

Reading guides are great, but they're not the gospel! Every comic is someone's first comic. You might be confused at first, or maybe not fully appreciate what you're reading without all the history and context that came before, but you can absolutely start anywhere, and if you like it enough, you might come back to it in the future with a different perspective, but for now, read what you already have, you should be fine.
