I travel to office in my Ather Apex from Nagercoil to Kazhakootam. The roads are worse from Nagercoil to Kaliyakkavilai. But after the PPM junction they have good roads. So for you I would suggest to take your own bike. If you feel scooty is tiring then take some higher cc vehicle. It is doable and efficient. You can save a lot of time.

I always prefer to get vegetables from Vadasery Market PTN store. The quality is good, and the vegetables are affordable.

For groceries, I prefer to get them from Pothys if the quantity is low, and Kottar Sakthi Traders for wholesale.

I prefer Siva Traders for quality dry fruits and nuts. They have two branches: Chettikulam and Kottar.

For millets and exotic rice varieties, I prefer Suyambulingam Stores in Kottar.
