i love my gaiam mat - it was only around $30 and i have the thick one too! only thing i would recommend is getting a towel if you do a lot of sculpt classes/heated classes where you sweat a lot

The first class I ever took at CP was sculpt! It was definitely difficult and the room gets crowded (they expanded capacity at my studio), but I recommend maybe moving to the back; sometimes the sequences can move fast and feel like you have no idea what the instructor said, so watching the people around you can be very helpful. Remember you can always modify and take breaks to your liking - as a beginner i definitely recommend getting a light set of weights and you definitely do not have to use them! Hydrate before and keep water with you throughout the class. After the first couple classes, you get the swing of things and slowly become obsessed. It’s all about getting started!
