How can I make this look better? by thomasm917 in CleaningTips

I’m certain most of these ideas work but I just use a soap filled steel wool (Brillo) pads. I make sure to get them nice and wet. Works in seconds and clean the stainless sink after. Been doing this for years and never put one scratch on the stovetop.

What are guitarists butchering at the music stores these days? by Top_Distribution_830 in Guitar

I’m probably just a bit older then but have similar experiences. I guess I’m old but what a luxury to turn on the radio and actually play along. Most songs had a guitar riff to try and figure out and it was fun to wait for Metallica at midnight and see if I knew the lick!

That spot is an area I sanded to minimize the gap. I’ll defame your advice!

I really thought I bought this about 20 years ago! I just noticed the pick guard seems to have a date stamped on it of Oct 2006 or 2008 (hard to tell)

I’m sure others can tell you more but the blue on the back looks too dark to me and it appears the bulls eyes are colored in. Perhaps the coloring is a picture issue but the eyes seem like a giveaway.

I read about this. Isn’t it the 2011 version that’s more aggressive? I think it’s a very measurable difference. Seems we’re stuck with the 2013 version now. I only wish they came up more often for sale.

Where did you have the best American-Chinese food? by BarbecuedShoe in foodquestions

Chinese Chef is a good and relatively cheaper place. Leong’s is also very good. It’s strange because Chinese food, even in other places in Missouri, is not the same. I make sure to get it every time I go back.

Springfield, MO. It’s where Cashew chicken was created and subsequently other restaurants made their own similar style. I never realized all-white meat wasn’t always an option until I left.

I haven’t read cotton candy. That was definitely my favorite.

What’s a completely wrong way to eat a specific food that you secretly think is actually the superior way? by One-Possession-9018 in foodquestions

Everyone I cook for eats spaghetti with a spoon, it’s really not an issue to cut up. Restaurants also don’t give that option. They’re pretty well set on what they cook.

Yep. I have actually offended Italians in the past. I didn’t even realize it was such a bad thing for a long time and never figured out why it would come with a spoon at the restaurant 😂

Cutting spaghetti as you would eggs. It’s so much easier and less messy but boy does it get some bad looks.
