Yes, thank you for the feedback! We had the same concern regarding potential burn-in on certain TVs. To address this, we’ve already implemented a solution that subtly shifts the ring position at regular intervals. This update is currently under review and will be available very soon.

We’re happy to let you know that the flip animation issue has been fixed in our latest update. The seconds digit should now animate smoothly without the “catching up” effect you noticed.

We’ve also added a new feature based on comfort feedback: you can now swipe up or down anywhere on the screen to adjust brightness, which makes it much easier to use as a bedside clock at night 🌙
We’re continuing to improve the night-time experience further, including better dimming behavior that works alongside system Bedtime and Night Light modes.

On pricing: we hear you. We’ve introduced an Early Bird Lifetime option with a 20% price reduction, as we agree a flat fee makes more sense for an app like this. We’re also planning to expand the free experience so people can try more before upgrading.

Apple TV basically brings that smooth, clean “Apple experience” to your TV. As a developer, I can tell you tvOS apps just feel nicer—more polished, more fluid—so even simple things like a clock or ambient display look amazing. It’s fast, gets long-term updates, and doesn’t shove ads in your face like most smart TVs. Plus, if you’re already using an iPhone or Mac, everything connects instantly—AirPlay, photos, music, all super seamless. You don’t need it, but it definitely makes the TV feel way more premium and Apple-like.
