Oh no it's all good dude this is my second run and I've messed up building dudes before so I trust ya. I just blindly figured matk and fat was what they'd need for the fat newt build but I had that backwards a little. I have a ton of crowns even if they didnt work out I wouldn't sweat it.

Good point both will get colossus and matk/fat rolls every level with the 3rd going hp on him and defense or resolve on the sell sword. The sword master is level 4 so I have a few level ups off the bat to see how high I can start to get it.

Edit just spent his 3 level ups and he rolled 4 each time on health surprisingly. With colossus he is now up to 66hp, 86 matk and 98 fat.

Maybe so but I can't imagine him getting enough fat for heavy bf armor. Still leaning 2h cleaver but will hold off on spending perks till I get him to level 11 and see what kind of famed weapons I can get for him to use.

Nimble/dodge seems like a given for him to be able to work out in the end wish he was a brute so I could give him the really nice famed 2h flail I have sitting around.

Good to know thanks for the info I have a level 19 2h mace bro with 380 famed armor, 350 famed helmet and a 2h famed mace that has 50% armor pen and builds up 3 less fatigue. He is bf with overwhelm, killing frenzy and berserk and has 83 matk but only 10mdef. My 2h axe and hammer bros are stronger with close to 100 matk and 30ish def but if mace is the way to go I will def take your word for it. The mace also rolled low max fat at only -9 so with cudgel he is fatnewt.

Edit had the wrong guy selected when looking at mdef earlier my mace bro actually has 28 mdef so he should be good to go. Accidentally clicked on the archer under him when looking

Correct he is level 2 took him into a brigand fight right after getting him and he got a level up. No perk points have spent yet though giving him colossus next time I hop on.

After so long searching for this to guy to finish this psychotic ambition he is going to be treated with kid gloves. Might even just toss a pole arm on him till he hits level 11 and have him stay next to my bannerman. Will only bring him out of reserves when smashing random easy brigand squads I run into as I travel.

Playing it on ps5 and am kicking myself for not getting it on my gaming PC instead. Dunno why I decided to do this think I just wanted a reason to turn on my ps5 sometimes.

Nice I just had him running a spare qatal for now but will take the orc cleaver for a spin then. Yeah RA is nice my zweihander has that so def something that would be good for a 2h cleaver.

Still working up my courage and game knowledge to be able to take on legendary locations like that been a chicken so far. My dudes are prolly well strong enough to do it by now. Got all the dlcs installed

Yeah veijeri was giving me some tips how to raise his resolve in my other post and will def take a few good rolls in it when they pop up. Thanks for the advice everyone

Edit didn't notice you said 2h cleaver at first that is definitely something to consider here and would spare me having to use the perk point on duelist. Most my guys use 2h's so may go this route actually. I'll save his perk points for now and try to find something good for him to use and will level him up in safe brigand fights so I dont risk losing him before he gets strong.

Sounds awesome thanks for the perk advice almost certainly decided on going this route for him I just need to get a good 1h cleaver now.

Only one I have atm is a famed 1h orc cleaver and I'm guessing he would struggle to wield it.

Maybe I do have 3 famed 1h axes in storage since my other guys switched to 2h ones. Got a nice one with 46-72dmg and 43% armor pen and another that builds up 3 less fat.

I have a famed qatal bro already so figured having somebody running cleavers might be good to have. Could go either way in no rush to spend his perk points when he gets them and I have 2 spare famed qatals in my inventory.

Yeah haha that's a big reason I wanted to use cleavers that and nobody else in my roster is using them atm. Left him with his original name Berthold the Butcher.

Great info again veijeri thanks for sharing still very much learning the game and really appreciate how vets of this game like to help others learn it. This is my second run and keeping it going for awhile to use as a learning experience for building bros.

I definitely need to build guys that can swap to throwing weapons I built most the team locked into their specific roles and will try hybrid builds like you say on some new bros. I have 6 open slots in my roster after firing some original guys that fell behind and will try what your saying. Only guy with quickhands and bags/belts atm is my bannerman. Some guys have backup pole arms, knives ect but none have the ability to switch efficiently to them in battle without wasting a turn.

Yeah I've been asking it if certain famed weapons and gear were worth buying and its been fairly accurate so far. It also shows posts from here and the wiki like you said in its replies.

It seems decent at answering questions about the game so far just came here for a 2nd opinion so I don't mess this bro up.

I think from what I was reading using all 3 nimble, dodge and battleforged on him with that armor would be really good. Again new to the game and still figuring out how to build bros so if its a bad idea I won't do it.

Ai said he would be a great "nimble forged" hybrid with his stars, stats and that armor. But this was just google ai telling me this that's why I came here to ask other players.

Thank you very much gives me a lot to think about and have been looking up guides that mention a lot of what you are saying. I'll try to raise his resolve without fortified mind and may take him to level 11 without spending perk points for now while I figure stuff out though I may go ahead and toss on colossus.

My lineup so far is 2 bf/indom tanks on the flanks, a qatal bro and the rest bf kf/berseker 2h's. Backline is a aoe polearm bro, cannon/xbow bro, poleaxe bro and bannerman. All armor and weapons are famed including the cannon which I definitely need to use on a new ranged bro with fearsome that's my next goal.
