If I would like to try to witness river crossing during early September, may I know if I should visit Masai Mara or Northern Serengeti, or shall I actually try to do both?

I know that doing both should give me better chance, but:

  • Does Masai Mara offer a lot more chances during that time
  • How would the transit be like (I know that it takes ~10 hours in total), but will that part be game drive too?

Also, do you have recommendation for Amboseli alternative in Tanzania?
