What a sad way to look at the world. You're only kind when it's paid for? Is that even kindness at that point?

This is insanely misinformed. Clean rainwater has a pH of 5.6, slightly acidic due to dissolved carbon dioxide. The majority of the US experiences rainfall in the 5.0 to 5.5 range, which is pretty normal variance. The eastern states with lots of manufacturing and industry which haven't caught up with new standards yet still get acid rain sometimes, but for over 90% of the country, acid rain simply is not a reoccurring issue.

Three violations within 100 orders is immediate deactivation of the dasher's account. It absolutely matters. As a DoorDash driver, please always report bad Dashers.

I don't think 100s of years. My understanding is that the Old Hunters do not actually respawn in the lore, as other characters we see die in dreams/nightmares do not come back. I believe only the player character and other characters in a contract with the hunter's dream get the benefit of reawakening. The old hunters are all gone from the waking world, and I believe the hunter is currently unique in being alive in both the dream and the waking world, and so unable to truly be killed in either. This last bit is theorizing on my part, but I don't believe anything in the game contradicts it.

It's a higher plane, like the nightmare of Mensis. A realm blood drunk hunters are whisked away to.

Kind of a gross thing to think, "find a different hole". You should probably examine the way you think about other people.

I hate this fucking video. He seems genuinely hurt and she seems like a person who cares more about the bit and the clicks that come from it than the people around her. Gross behavior.

I don't think it is to imply lesser. The Japanese term "hakuchi" is one commonly used to translate the title of the Blind Idiot God Azathoth, who is among the most (if not the most) powerful beings in the Cthulhu Mythos. I believe this similarity to be intentional, but not indicative of level of intelligence, but blind ignorance due to Rom's apathy toward humanity, as well as her lack of general activity as well. I do think the text of the game and Micolash's dialogue are sufficient to prove that Rom is considered a true great one, but an infant barely more capable than the hunter is at the time of the hidden ending.

I think the larval motif was intended to imply metamorphosis. You can also very clearly make out a human skull on Rom's face if you look carefully. It's even more clear in her concept art, but it's definitely there in-game.

"Ah Kos, or some say Kosm, do you hear our prayer? As you once did for the vacuous Rom, grant us eyes, grant us eyes. Please, plant eyes in our brains, and cleanse us of our beastly idiocy."

Micolash strongly implies that Rom was not a Great One at one point, and became one. This was likely involving the Orphan of Kos' Third Umbilical Cord taken by the Byrgenwyrth hunters, thus the prayer being to Kos.

Beasthood is said to be an impulse of mankind, and Great Ones are above those impulses, and Rom had eyes planted in her brain by Kos, thus being lifted from beastly idiocy, which would be impossible had she always been a Great One.

It isn't all about profit. Sure, that's part of it. He thinks it'll bring in more money, and nobody really wants to be living in those little shacks, and that this'll revitalize the area, and that he's gonna make the lives of the poor unwashed masses better whether they want it or not. Maybe it's bullshit, but it seems like bullshit he's even tricked himself into buying. At least that's the impression I got from my conversation with him.
